Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 6, 2026.

This Privacy Policy explains what data The KristiKay Diary (“we”, “us”, “the site”) collects when you visit, how we use it, and the choices you have. We try to keep this as short as possible while still being useful.

Who we are

The KristiKay Diary is an independent editorial blog covering style, beauty, and women’s wellness. The site is operated by NOIQUE CO. LLC. You can reach us at info@kristikaywrites.com.

What we collect

We aim to collect as little personal data as possible.

  • Server / CDN logs. When you load a page, our hosting provider (Cloudflare Pages) records your IP address, browser user-agent, and the URL you requested. These logs are kept short-term for security and abuse prevention. We do not link them to anything else.
  • Privacy-preserving analytics. If we have analytics enabled (you can check our <head> to see), we use a tool that does not set cross-site cookies and does not record IP addresses. We see aggregate numbers (page views, top referrers, country) — never individuals.
  • Newsletter signup. If you submit your email to the newsletter, we store that email with the email service provider listed below for the sole purpose of sending you updates. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
  • Browser-local preferences. Your light/dark theme preference is saved in your browser’s localStorage. It never leaves your device.

We do not:

  • Collect comments (the site doesn’t have a comment form).
  • Sell or rent data to third parties.
  • Build advertising profiles about you.
  • Run third-party ad networks (no AdSense, no DSP retargeting pixels).

Cookies and similar storage

We use localStorage for your theme preference and to remember whether you’ve dismissed any in-page banners. We do not set tracking cookies of our own.

Embedded content

Posts may embed images, videos (YouTube/Vimeo), or other media from third-party sites. Those embeds can read your IP and set their own cookies — same as if you visited those sites directly. We have no control over what those third parties do with that data; check their privacy policies for specifics.

Some posts contain affiliate links — see our affiliate disclosure for the full picture. Clicking an affiliate link may pass identifiers to that merchant (e.g. an Amazon Associates tag) so they can attribute the sale to us. The merchant’s privacy policy applies to anything you do on their site.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export the personal data we hold about you (notably under the EU GDPR, UK GDPR, and California’s CCPA/CPRA). To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@kristikaywrites.com and we’ll respond within 30 days. We will not retaliate against you for exercising your rights.

If you want to opt out of our newsletter, click “unsubscribe” in any email — instant.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we’ll delete it.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted at the top of this page with a new “Last updated” date.
